Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a very rare pop icon: a pop star that has crossed the line completely from traditional country music to popular culture making her a pop-culture icon that is enduring and has captured the hearts of millions across the world. Swift has shed her roots in traditional music as if she was a new layer, revealing herself as one of the best pop singers and songwriters of that her generation has ever seen. Swift was able to draw inspiration from the zeitgeist of today and turn it into her unique. The skills she displayed were apparent on her very first singles, including neo-tribute Tim McGraw but her second album 2008's Fearless showcased a songwriter discovering her true identity and, in doing so, gaining an audience of mass. Fearless achieved huge popularity not only in the United States, in which six of the singles were certified platinum in the wake of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But it also did well across all over the world. Swift had the chance to further consolidate her success by releasing Speak Now almost two year later. The next three years her fame increased through the years -in the form of Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) in 2014-2015 as she stepped into the world of pop where her talents had already been established. Her music remained on forefront of pop music even though she cut back on her appearance by releasing her folklore album with siblings in the year 2020, and Evermore.
