Rhona Mitra

 Mitra was the live-action version of Lara Croft in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider videogame series. Angelina Jolie assumed the role in the Tomb Raider films (2001 to 2003). Mitra was the No. 46 in Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2001. She was Christopher Lambert's romantic partner in Beowulf. She was Scott Wolf's unintentional love interest in Party of Five, her first major role. In the year 2000, Mitra had a small part in the movie Hollow Man as a neighbour who is raped by Kevin Bacon's character. She played the lead role in the drama about medical treatment Gideon's Crossing, as Alejandra "Ollie" Klein. After that, Mitra had roles in Ali G Indahouse's Sweet Home Alabama, Stuck on You as well as leading roles in Highwaymen, Spartacus, and in the film "The Practice". Mitra was Tara Wilson's last appearance on The Practice. She continued this role in Boston Legal, but she was unable to return until the second season. Mitra played Kit McGraw in season 3 of Nip/Tuck , 2005. Mitra was later to be in Skinwalkers, The Number 23 and Shooter.In 2008, Mitra starred in the main role in the science fiction/action film Doomsday as Major Eden Sinclair (sometimes mistakenly named in some databases as being Caryn Peterson) In 2009, she came to be a part of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans as Sonja who is the daughter of the powerful vampire older Viktor (played by Bill Nighy). Mitra was awed by her vampire fangs while filming. They even refused to take them off when it became impossible to see. "I put the fangs in the very first day. I thought it was weird that they were in the first place. I kept them in during the entire shooting process, and every line of dialogue. Stargate Universe was a series that had three episodes featuring her.
